So I did pretty well today, except the insane chocolate cravings. I ate light, but then had caramel nut brownies and a couple pieces of candy throughout the day. I am really trying desperately not to drink a Pepsi. I want to quit drinking soda by 1/1/10; this is when I go live so to speak. This week, I am doing better, but cutting myself a little slack. I need to get mentally prepared so I will be more successful. As I begin this journey, I found a verse that I want to focus on.
Philippians 4:7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Is 135 just a number.... no, it's my freedom
I am starting this blog in hopes that it will keep me accountable for the things I am doing in my life that are holding me back. I also hope that people out there can encourage me with their success stories and that by the end of this year, I will encourage others.
I will be 37 in February and I weigh close to 300 pounds. That is very hard for me to put out there for all the world to see, but whether or not you know, doesn't change the reality.
I should weigh 135. I am not getting any younger and every year I tell myself, this is the year of Linda. Instead of losing weight, I end up gaining 10-15 pounds. This year I am trying something different. I am going to pray, eat healthier, exercise and blog. I've never blogged, so hopefully I keep it entertaining.
Please keep me in your prayers.
